In order to check in, you must report to the check-in desk of the airline with which you are flying, where you will be asked to show a valid identity document (passport or European identity card) and of course, your ticket. Nowadays, you usually do not receive a paper ticket on booking, but receive only a booking confirmation, in most cases via e-mail. This confirmation, together with your valid ID document, is sufficient to check in. You will see the number of the check-in desk for your flight on the screens in the transit hall.

At the check-in desk, you will be given a boarding card and your hold baggage will be weighed and provided with a baggage label. The hold baggage will then be directed via a conveyor belt, to scanning equipment where a scan check will be carried out to check for forbidden objects and dangerous and explosive materials. The scanning process cannot damage your camera, photo films, GSM or other equipment. After the security control, your baggage will be loaded into the aircraft. |
