From mid-December 2010, RandstadRail will provide speedy and easy access to the airport from The Hague, Leidschendam, Pijacker, Zoetermeer and Rotterdam Central Station, amongst others. Your journey with the Airport Shuttle from Meijersplein metrostation to the terminal takes mere minutes. To use public transport in Rotterdam, you will need the 'OV-chipkaart' (Public Transport Chip Card), which can be purchased from AKO, a newsagent at the airport.
