Passenger information about the Coronavirus

The government has announced far-reaching measures to combat the corona virus until March 31. As a regional airport, we adhere to these measures. We are in close contact with relevant organizations and we follow the guidelines of the RIVM and the GGD. The health and safety of our passengers, chain partners and employees are paramount to us. As an airport, we take a number of measures:

-We inform travelers (for example in our arrival hall) about the coronavirus and what you can do to prevent it from spreading. Hygiene gel is also available for your hands in our arrival hall.
– There is regular consultation with the GGD, RIVM, other airports and the Rotterdam-Rijnmond safety region to closely monitor the situation and to inform each other
-We do extra cleaning at the airport.
-In all washrooms at the airport we have posted hygiene advice. We follow the guidelines of RIVM / GGD.

Update airlines

Due to the corona virus and the decreasing number of bookings, the airline Transavia cancels a number of flights. Due to the far-reaching measures that the Italian government has announced this week for the whole of Italy to prevent further spread of the coronavirus, Transavia has decided to cancel all flights to Italy between March 18 and April 22, 2020.

For Rotterdam The Hague Airport, the following destinations are concerned: Pisa, Perugia and Rome. All passengers on the canceled flights will receive an email and a text message about this.
