Kuusamo is a municipality and city in the Finnish province of Oulu and in the Finnish region North-Österbotten. Kuusamo is always an excellent holiday destination, whether you visit at -20 °C or +20 °C. In the Ruka ski resort, you will find plenty of well-prepared slopes, even in early spring. Ruka’s ski season lasts more than 200 days and is one of the longest in Europe.

During the summer season you can experience the thrill and excitement of whitewater rafting on foaming rapids, or hike in the beautiful landscape in one of the beautiful national parks in Oulanka, Riisitunturiand Hossa. If you travel to Kuusamo between mid-May and the end of July, you can also enjoy the midnight sun. Northern lights are usually visible between August and April.
