The south-of-France Montpellier has a historic city centre with many small streets with shops and many sights to see. The heart of this student city is called the Place de la Comédie, where street artists and musicians play a number of times per week. Here too is the beautiful Opéra Comédie. In Montpellier, you can also relax on the beach. Not far from this city, you will find the splendid nature preserve Camargue, with its grey and white horses, black bulls and pink flamingos.
