The Catalonian city of Girona is an interesting part of Spain and popular among many Dutch people. The historic inner city is located on a steep hill with many narrow alleyways and Middle Ages plazas full of shops, bars and restaurants. Characteristic of Girona are the ‘hanging’ buildings on the Onyar River.
